Job: Senior Software Engineer

Are you ready to embark on a dynamic journey in the world of software? We are looking for a skilled and eager senior software engineer to join our versatile and international Scrum team. You will be co-responsible for the development and maintenance of a (live) cloud-based service to connect lighting, time reservation and gate access systems, controllable by a web app exposed to multiple levels of users.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your main role will revolve around utilizing your expertise in the Laravel PHP framework. Your senior-level experience will be crucial for codebase analysis, maintenance, and enhancements, as well as overseeing deployments. You'll play a vital role in maintaining code quality and ensuring successful project deliveries. Who are you?

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field
At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
Proficiency with the Laravel PHP framework - or as an alternative, Symfony
Experience with the following technologies: MySQL, Docker, AWS, Vapor
Experience with both API development and usage of 3rd party APIs
Preferred experience with GitLab, or another CI/CD platform
Preferred experience with the Vue.js framework
Professional experience with unit testing and unit testing frameworks
Your communication skills are excellent
You're proactive, hands-on and you embrace change.
